new-siteI think that many of you have noticed my new design. Thank you to those who have visited my blog and gave me compliments on it.  I tend to like bright colours but I didn’t think that bright colours was the way to go for a photography blog. So i thought id go with this design, i like it because its soft and understated but not girly With some work and changes this theme worked out really well for what i wanted.

I wish i have known about flickr and how easy it is to work into your blog before because I spent hours trying to make other gallery plug-ins to look the way i wanted. Lets just say in doing so I got blocked from my own server twice. After along time of tweaks and trying new things to make them work I was getting very frustrated.

flickr logoAlex my fiance show me how to put flickr into my site and it turns out that it did judt what I wanted. Now under my gallery page I have a slide show of my best work and then below I have aalbums that include sets of photos and events Ive shot. Im working on including more.

I would highly recommend flickr use for any blogger… I don’t even use my flickr account for anything other then to create these slide shows and albums.   I do plan on looking into flickr as a community because I very much like deviantart and flickr looks more technically advanced.  I’m very excited about learning what else this website can do, so if you think theirs something that I should know about or something that you are excited about… then tell me. I’m always looking to learn more in many fields.
