I’ve wrote now about 5 or 6 posts, and haven’t really told you anything thing about me. I figured that I would tell you about how I got into Photography.
I honestly didn’t have any interest in anything to do with art until high school really, I had a choose take, music, drama or art. I hated the first two so I took Art Class. I spent most of my first year in art drawing, and claimed that I hated painting. by year 11 art, any project that could paint to complete i did. Painting became a real passion. I was painting at one point a painting a day. I never got good at realistic art, I really loved abstract painting. I think that it was a way to get emotions out/across I know that sounds dumb but I think that many will be able to understand. If your interested in seeing my Paintings I will post them for you.

I met my fiance over the Internet and after some time I went to England to meet him, (from Canada) long story short. He took Media classes and always wanted a Canon EOS, so when we had a little spare change We got one. Now he hardly gets to touch the thing because at every occasion I am shooting away. I’ve been doing Photography now for over a year. I think Ive got over the I wanna try everything stage and I’m trying to find an area of most interest in photography. Then I would like to concentrate how I could do that professionally.

Tell me how you guys got started, I really dont know that many artist. Id like to know how others got into careers with photography. Did you take schooling then just apply to your postion? or was it something you built apon?
